Cannot complain! I was looking for something refreshing and that wouldn't dry the crap out of my hair and this seemed to do the trick! It had a pleasant smell which is something I wasn't sure about since it seems more like a 'medicated' type of shampoo to put in my hair. Not only that, but since it is supposed to help with a wide assortment of things, I thought it would definitely dry my hair out, again, not the case. While I am not going to say this product is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING or what have you, it is definitely worth the price for the shiny, soft hair that you get.The tea tree oil though, definitely worth the non-dandruff that is happening. Winter time tends to be the time that gets my scalp and compared to the expensive Paul Mitchell, this is well worth it.Give it a whirl for yourself, couldn't help but say this product is pretty good, it works.
My skin is perpetually dry, and the onset of winter, with the arid air and dry heat indoors, results in a dry and itchy scalp. There's very little respite from this, because even washing my hair leaves my skin extra dry. I have tried all sorts of shampoos, all the brand names to the generics, and I still struggle with this condition. I bought this shampoo on the recommendation of a friend, and was torn between hoping for a miracle cure and being resigned to the usual flaky scalp in used to having. The first thing that struck me was the scent: a minty, sweet aroma that wasn't so strong to tingle, but enough to delight my olfactory sense. As I rubbed the shampoo in, I could feel it lathering up but couldn't tell if it was having a major effect -- again, missing that tingling feeling.I let my hair air dry and waited. A quick look in the mirror revealed the same flaky spots in my scalp as before using the product. Imagine my surprise when an hour later my head was flake free. I'm not quite sure how the product was able to quench my dry scalp and keep the flakes (which I had seen!) from forming, but I cannot question the effective result. I wasn't expecting a miracle product, but I think I found it. I hope it works as well for you as me.
Good product for your hair/scalp however I feel like I have to use alot of it on my hair. I have long thick hair and have to use about 8 pumps of the product each time. It does not foam up as much as I’d like it to, but that is just my personal choice. I have used it for about a week now and though I use a lot each time, there is still plenty in the bottle. It uses a pump action and has a slight mint scent to it. It contain tree tea in it, but I like that it’s not too strong. It does not make my head tingle or anything and I can’t really feel any affect while its on my head. It is clear and I leave it in for about 3-5 mins. before washing out. I feel that my scalp is not as dry now after using this product and will continue to use it too see if it completely stops my head itching as well.
I bought this shampoo for my teenage son and myself to use. We both have psoriasis on our scalps so, when it flares up we get some soar spots that itch alot sometimes to the point where it bleeds and hurts quite a bit. Then we know We're in a flare and have to have something to relieve the itchyness and irritation. I've tried many things over the years including teatree oil, tea tree shampoo and conditioner, tar shampoo, vinegar, baking soda and so many others including some pretty powerful prescriptions. So, When I decided to try Amplixin for the first time I was pleasantly surprised that it helped with my current flare up of the scaly rash, and it helped tremendously with the irritation and itch. We'll definitely be keeping it around even once our current flare is over with.
I bought Amplixin because my hair stylist mentioned how dry my scalp is. The weird thing to me is if I don't wash my hair everyday it looks greasy and flat. I don't have dandruff very bad. I bought this to try to even out my hair. After the first time I used this conditioner I had a coworker ask me if I just had a hair cut because my hair looked less frizzy at the tips. Then later on I had a resident ask me of I colored my hair. I told her "No, I just washed it". After getting home from work my husband asked me of I did something new to my hair. This was all after one use. I've been using it for a week and feel like it is really helping my hair. I also can go a day without washing my hair and it not looking like a greasy mess. So far so good!
My daughter has had some serious issues with dandruff and itchy scalp. We have tried numerous dandruff shampoos, and none of them have worked. She's been using this for a week now, and her dandruff is almost completely gone. No more flakes, or dry and itchy scalp. She said her hair feels so much better, and she doesn't feel as embarrassed anymore either. Her hair also looks healthier and fuller.Another good perk to this, is that it has Tea Tree oil in it. Which helps fight ticks, fleas, lice, etc.Overall I would recommend this to anyone who deals with dandruff. I wish I had gotten a before picture of the large flakes that she was dealing with! The transformation is amazing
I am a teacher who has had 3 cases of lice in the classroom this year alone. I have long hair, so I have always been worried about prevention from getting it myself. I was recommended to use a tea tree oil. I tried a few different brands from Ulta and TJ Maxx, but they all smelled so bad and left my hair feeling oily. I decided to splurge a little more on this because it had good reviews, and I LOVE it! It doesn't have a bad odor and leaves my hair feeling soft like any shampoo normally does. I use with a dime-size of conditioner immediately followed. I've noticed my hair looks healthier and softer just in the last few uses. Very pleased with purchase A+
